The M-TRING External Control (EC) merges compact ring illumination with smart output management from the TPL-CONTROL-1 to deliver a flexible lighting solution for machine vision and industrial imaging systems. Designed for applications where installation space is limited but lighting performance remains critical, it enables precise adjustment of illumination levels to support consistent and repeatable image capture across changing inspection conditions. The M-TRING can also be paired with other similar external machine vision controllers.
Built around a configurable ring illumination platform, the system supports multiple wavelength options and diffuser configurations, allowing it to adapt to a wide range of surface types, materials and reflectivity levels. When paired with advanced control electronics, users can fine-tune lighting behaviour without physically modifying the setup, helping to stabilise imaging results and reduce variation between production runs.
This makes the M-TRING EC well suited to automated inspection environments such as robotic guidance, component positioning, verification tasks and compact vision systems. By combining adaptable illumination with responsive control, it supports more reliable image acquisition in dynamic production environments where parts, surfaces or speeds may change.
The TPL-Control-1 is a compact and highly flexible LED lighting controller designed for machine vision and image acquisition systems. The scalable master/slave architecture supports up to 16 independent lighting channels, consisting of one master controller and up to 15 slave units, all managed through a single interface. With precise current and voltage regulation, ultra-fast switching performance, and output currents of up to 20 A in pulsed mode, the controller is ideal for high-brightness and high-speed inspection applications.
Compatible with the transparent diffuser version, Angle Changers enhance the adaptability of ring lights to suit different applications. By clipping the Angle Changers to the ring light, users can easily adjust the angle of illumination and amount of diffusion.
