The HPBACK External Control (EC) combines TPL Vision’s powerful high-output backlight with an advanced external controller (TPL-CONTROL-1), delivering precise illumination management for demanding industrial imaging applications. Designed for high-speed environments, it provides accurate intensity adjustment, triggering and synchronisation to ensure consistent image acquisition across varying production conditions.
With exceptional brightness, high uniformity and a large active illumination area, the HPBACK EC is ideal for applications requiring clear object silhouettes, profile analysis and dimensional verification. The addition of the external controller enables greater flexibility and control, allowing users to optimise lighting performance without changing hardware.
Available in multiple wavelengths and custom sizes, the HPBACK EC offers a reliable and scalable solution for automated production, measurement and inspection systems.
The TPL-Control-1 is a compact and highly flexible LED lighting controller designed for machine vision and image acquisition systems. The scalable master/slave architecture supports up to 16 independent lighting channels, consisting of one master controller and up to 15 slave units, all managed through a single interface. With precise current and voltage regulation, ultra-fast switching performance, and output currents of up to 20 A in pulsed mode, the controller is ideal for high-brightness and high-speed inspection applications.
