  Many machine vision systems are not made of 1 single light, but of many different illuminations. And, quite often, LED panels can disturb the camera and the other lights efficiency, because they are equipped with a white diffuser, when a dark background would be required.   The Black & Light (Bn’L) by TPL Vision is an innovative solution, that can be integrated in most applications. Equipped with high brightness LEDs, once it is switched on, it perfectly highlights the shape of the products you need to control.   And, as soon as it is off, it becomes a dark background, that helps the other illuminations to work properly. Moreover, the matt materials help to absorb the extra light, and to enhance the inspection process. The Black & Light is available in Standard, Overdrive versions.

  Equipped with 4 high powerful LEDs, the LED BRICK modules by TPL Vision can be easily  interconnected. You just have to plug few modules of LED BRICK all together to get very large lighting areas, easily upgradable according to the vision application’s features. If you just add an opaque diffuser on the top of the configuration, you get a perfectly homogeneous backlight, very appreciated by machine vision specialists.   The MR-RING is a bi-colour LED illumination, available in 2 sets of colours and 2 dimensions. It has been designed with tough production environments in mind: IP65 as standard, overdrive embedded, simple remote control capability (selection of colours and quadrants). Direct light can be used when:

  • objects do not reflect light (matt surface),
  • objects require maximum illumination brightness (e.g. fast moving items),
  • objects where shadows are not going to be present or cause problems.

  The MR-RING should be mounted so that the light shines directly onto the object of interest. Maximum illumination intensity will be achieved when the item is closest to the light. The camera can be mounted looking through the ring or to the side dependent on desired effect. The MR-RING can also be used for applications where a machine enclosure is being used to provide reflected diffused light. The MR-DOME version may also be appropriate.

  The HPRING is a solid ring, equipped with 12 high powerful LEDs, very useful for the directive lighting of a circular area. Among TPL Vision’s products range, it definitely appears to be one of the most powerful lightings. At a distance of 1m, the standard version of the HPRING can light up a circular area of 550mm.

  Its large internal diameter make it compatible with the largest camera’s objectives. The HPRING reveals all its potential in the field of robotics (for example, to locate the products during the packaging process) and also in the field of quality control.

  Composed of 12 high powerful 405 nm UV LEDs, the HPRING UV is obviously one of the most powerful lights among TPL Vision’s products ranges. It is especially helpful for the direct lighting of circular areas, either in continuous mode or in strobe mode. Its large internal diameter makes it the ideal partner for professional cameras, including those equipped with large lenses. The HPRING UV is specialized in the detection of UV optical brighteners: thanks to the HPRING UV, you can easily control the assembly defects, highlight the materials lacks and also read the UV markings.

  The FLOOD Light by TPL Vision is a high power flat illumination, which can illuminate large areas from a distance. It is specifically dedicated to the logistics market, and in particular to the control of palletizing process. The FLOOD Light has very thin edges and offers homogeneous light from the entire working surface, including from the edges. Thanks to the hole in the center of the Flood Light, you can insert your camera. And using the TPL Vision mounting accessories (in option), you can easily integrate it thanks to the mounting plate. Equipped with a satin diffuser and ±17° lenses, it is available in two sizes (200x300mm and 300x600mm) and in several wavelengths (white, blue, red and infrared).

  The Spot SBAR UV 365 (or UV 385) is a high powerful spot that can be easily fixed, thank to the groove located in the back of the body, just as you would do for a bar. Equipped with a 365 nm UV led (or a 385 nm UV led), it can perfectly light circular areas, including in places where the size is a real constraint. The Spot SBAR UV 365 (or UV 385) is very useful to highlight any kind of product that reacts with ultraviolet light (glue, paint…).   High Power HPFDOME

  The HPFDOME is a high-power flat dome illumination solution for Machine Vision applications. This product is the next evolution of TPL Vision’s flagship MFDOME+ Standard product, carrying significant product enhancements.

  Including: brightness level up to 45 kLux*, new connector making it easier and more cost effective to integrate*, improved rising and falling times of 15μs and 10μs respectively (40% Improvement*) and custom sizes available in 1cm steps (from 200 x 200mm up to 500 x 500mm or 1000 x 200mm).

  The Aluminium casing of the product can be manufactured to sizes from 200 x 200mm up to 900 x 900mm or 1900 x 400mm. This range topping illumination solution is perfect for area illuminations in robotic applications, such as pick and place, and logistics applications requiring stable images on large fields of view. Available in Red, White and Infrared, the LEDs are mounted with highly efficient lenses, engineered to distribute the highest brightness and uniformity balance for the dome lighting applications.
